About Us
We are Laura and Julien, and together we bring Turning Wild workshops and classes to you. We both share a passion for the natural world and have both acknowledged the calming and therapeutic effect that can come as a result of working with nature, not against it. Our aim is to share our passion and skill in working with traditional tools, in a traditional craft with the local community and bring access to the crafts that can lead to creative wellbeing. Plus reviving our traditional wood crafts to our younger generations before they are lost.

Our Skills and background
Julien Cole
Julien is a greenwood worker, carpenter and chair maker of 25 plus years. He is experienced in giving demostrations, tuition and has led workshops for both children and adults in pole lathing, greenwood carving amongst other crafts.
Laura Logan
Laura is a Holistic Therapist of over 15years and has worked and colaborated and created in alternative education schools and programs for more then 10years. Having always had an affinity to the natural world, most of her groups have always been based in or around nature and learning through craft. She always takes with her a holistic approach to any learning enviroment and has gained experience and training in Child Led Learning (ALC), Understanding Autism, Out Door learning and facilitating Home Education groups.
